Uma graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 2003 and completed a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Boston University in 2010. Uma began treating clients with pelvic floor dysfunction secondary to oncological intervention while working in New York at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). Since relocating to Toronto, Uma has dedicated her efforts to treating females and males with pelvic floor dysfunction. She currently practices at Lifemark Leslie and Sheppard in North York and coordinates the Pelvic Health curriculum as an Adjunct Lecturer for the University of Toronto Physical Therapy department.
Alana Devlin obtained her Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physiotherapy from the University of Manitoba in 1996. She became a certified manipulative therapist in 2002 and began to pursue further advanced education in her passion for women’s health. She has engaged in advanced training throughout Canada and USA. In 2018 and 2019, Alana successfully obtained the certificate of achievement in pregnancy/postpartum physical therapy and the certificate of achievement in pelvic physical therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association and she is a member of the Canadian Menopause Society. Alana completed her Doctoral degree in physical therapy in the summer of 2021. She is proud to be an instructor and teaching assistant and work alongside gynecology and urogynecology health professionals.
