Sheelah Woodhouse has been Lifemark’s Director of Vestibular Rehabilitation since 2006. She graduated as a Physiotherapist from the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine in 1991, and Vestibular Rehabilitation soon became her primary focus and passion. She has pursued extensive post-graduate education in the field, including her Certificate in Vestibular Rehabilitation in 2000, Advanced Certificate, and now serves as faculty at the ‘gold standard’ annual vestibular competency course at Emory University. She is a co-author of the clinical practice guidelines for Vestibular Rehabilitation and is Past-President of the Vestibular Disorders Association.
Krista graduated with an Honours Bachelors degree in Kinesiology from Lakehead University and with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. She completed post graduate courses in manual therapy, acupuncture, vestibular rehabilitation, cancer rehabilitation and concussion management. In 2014 she completed Certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation at Emory University School of Medicine. Krista was a Clinic Director for 8 years and now leads Lifemark’s national specialty programs.
